Hardware kits consists of the locknuts, bolts and washers required to attach disc packs and/or hubs to a coupling.
The Falk™ Steelflex® cover grid assembly contains the cover, grid, seal and gasket kit, cover hardware and packet of LTG grease. Packaged in a single box for stocking convenience.
The gear coupling sleeve is the cover like portion of the gear coupling that contains internal spur teeth and mates with a flex hub. Please be advised that double engagement couplings require the use of two (2) sleeves.
Lifelign®, seal and gasket kits consist of all seals and gaskets required for a coupling. Kits may be packaged with new couplings or required when servicing a coupling assembly.
Capscrew kits are used to attach hubs to elements on an Omega® or Viva™ coupling.
An element is the flexible portion of an Omega® or Viva™ coupling (includes mounting shoes and hardware).
High speed rings are used to give spacer couplings the same achievable speeds as a close coupled coupling
Sleeve extensions mount to Omega® spacer elements allowing for additional shaft spacing. Sleeve extensions are an economical alternative to floating shaft couplings.
Falk™ Steelflex® grids or gridmembers are the serpentine shaped alloy spring steel that connect the hubs and transmits torque between the coupling hubs. It is normally considered to be the wearing item in the coupling. A grid maybe a singular hoop or consists of multiple segments forming a circle dependent on the size of the coupling. Current grid members are shot peened for maximum fatigue resistance and torque transmission capability.
The Steelflex® cover gaskets fit at the joint between mating cover halves and function to provide a tight joint to seal the coupling
The patented Addax® Composite Flexible Element was developed to withstand the harsh environment and high-misalignment conditions typically found in cooling tower applications. Fretting and stress crack corrosion (the leading contributors to metal disc pack failure) are eliminated, and maintenance and installation costs are dramatically reduced.

The Steelflex® seal and gasket kit includes two elastomeric seal rings and the cover gaskets to seal lubricants in the coupling and keep contaminants out.
The Steelflex® spacer assembly is the center drop-out portion of a spacer style coupling.
The open lug type center member on the Thomas® AMR / CMR couplings provides ample clearance for assembly while minimizing the space required for coupling installation.
Center Member Assemblies for Thomas® couplings includes a spool with attached disc packs, washers, bolts and locknuts.
Disc Packs for Thomas® couplings consist of metallic flexible elements.

The Wrapflex® cover is a ring used to restrain the element in the coupling during operation.
The element is the torque transmitting flexible elastomeric connecting member of a Wrapflex® coupling.
The Wrapflex® spacer assembly consists of the center component parts of the R31 or R35 spacer coupling.
